Ministry

In our group of parishes we want to seek God, know God, serve God, worship God and proclaim God. All that we do is based around these principles.

Ministry to Young People

 

Youth Ministry

SNACS - Sunday Night at the Catacombs - fellowship and fun for 1st -4th years with Calry Parish and Sligo Cathedral Group. SNACS meets every Sunday evening @7p.m. in the Catacombs. Contact the rector for more details.

Summer Madness - with the diocese at the largest C of I event!

Our Younger Children

Sunday School - meets during church time @ Drumcliffe.

BLAST (Believing, Learning and Sharing Together) - primary school children gather to learn more about God throug fun and games. Meets Monday evenings 6.45 - 7.45p.m. in The Lissadell Centre.

Tots & Co. - Parents / Carers and Pre-schoolers are welcome to the rectory on Monday mornings from 10.30 a.m....play, crafts, story and singing for the tots and coffee and chat for the adults.

Holiday Bible club....a week long programme for primary school children every August.

Prayers at Drumcliffe

This is a ministry of prayer at Drumcliffe to our many visitors. Prayer requests are left in the church for the parish prayer group. Thousands of requests are left each year from all over the world.

Bible Studies

We regularly run mid week Bible Courses for adults to help us make connections between our faith and everyday lives. Contact the Rector for details of upcoming events.

 

Mothers' Union

Part of a world wide movement providing fellowship and support for women and families. We meet on the second Thursday of each month.

Link Missionaries

We are partners in mission with Kiwoko Hospital, Uganda. Our link missonaries are Ken and Judith Finch with CMS Ireland

Choir

At Christmas and Easter the hard-working Parish Choirs are augmented for extra special Services

 

Mothers' Union and Social Ministry

Social Ministry

Throughout the year parishoners get together to enjoy each others company and fellowship.

Recent occasions have included parish bar-b-ques, quiz nights, treasure hunts and walks.

Men's Breakfasts

We occasionally run men's breakfasts on Saturday mornings.
